EastEnders is set to be a whirlwind of revelations and schemes this week, with an air of mystery hanging over the Square. The BBC soap will see the reappearance of newcomer Maya, who is left livid when Harvey Monroe attempts to find her on social media. But what secrets is she keeping, and could viewers be right about a potential revenge plot?

Meanwhile, Cindy Beale has a secret (or perhaps not so secret) plan to rekindle her relationship with ex-husband George Knight. His current fling with Elaine Peacock and her own with Ian Beale isn't deterring her in the slightest.

In addition, the Panesar family are at odds with each other following Nish's death confession. As suspicions rise about the true motives of certain family members, could Nish's scheme to bring his family together before his demise see the family plunged into more conflict?

Maya's Return

While her motive isn't yet clear, Maya seems to have Harvey in her sights, although no sinister intentions have been confirmed reports the Mirror. However, upcoming spoilers indicate that she will soon get angry at Harvey for looking at her social media, which she then deactivates.

Clearly hiding something, Maya previously visited the Square only to disappear without a trace. Harvey liked Maya and tries to reach out to her in forthcoming scenes, but this just leads to her confronting him. Her sudden reappearance and interactions with Harvey have led fans to believe they know her true identity. Viewers speculate that she has connections to a former character and storyline from the BBC soap, and may be plotting some form of revenge against Harvey.

Harvey quickly apologises and invites her for a drink to make amends for the social media mishap. During their conversation, Maya reveals to Harvey that she lost her husband last year, leading them to bond even more. After she departs, Maya leaves her hat behind. However, in a twist of events, when Harvey tries to contact her online later, he finds her account has been deleted.

Later in the week, Harvey is upset about losing touch with Maya, so Jean Slater suggests a 'boys' night out' with a football theme to lift his spirits. But what is Maya hiding, and will Harvey see her again?

Cindy's betrayal

Cindy Beale is left shocked when she learns that her daughter, Anna, has been mugged, and the situation worsens when Kathy Beale blames Cindy, calling her a bad mum. In response, Cindy rushes to The Vic with Jack Branning to persuade Anna to report the incident, but Anna refuses despite pleas from Cindy and George Knight. Later, Ian Beale attempts to say sorry to Cindy for Kathy's harsh words, but she snubs his apology.

Following their unexpected kiss, Cindy and her ex-husband George decide to work together and head to the Boxing Den to review the CCTV footage. Later, Cindy tries to get closer to George as they discuss how to support Anna. However, when Anna arrives to speak with her father, she is taken aback to find him drinking with Cindy.

Cindy, oblivious to the situation, tries once more to win George over, only to be rebuffed in front of his son Junior. Later, Cindy dresses up in another attempt to rekindle their relationship but how will George respond?

Are Suki and Vinny's plans about to be revealed?

EastEnders ' Suki and Vinny Panesar might need to tread carefully as their revenge plot is being suspected by multiple people. The mother-son duo are eager to regain control of their family business from Nish, who recently dropped the bombshell news of his terminal illness.

However, Ravi and his ex Priya might be onto them, while Suki's partner Eve Unwin also grows suspicious next week. Fresh spoilers hint at their scheme being jeopardised as Eve gets upset over Vinny's closeness with Nish, especially after he hired Ravi to kill her months ago.

This leads to a heated argument between Eve and Nish at the pub, with Eve questioning how the family can overlook all his wrongdoings. Suki intervenes and pulls her away, but will she reveal her true intentions towards Nish?

Eve isn't the only one confronting someone about the ongoing events, as Ravi confesses to his father that he suspects Vinny is up to something. Nish orders Ravi to probe into whether his youngest son is being sincere or if he's being manipulated.

Vinny pledges his allegiance and manages to convince him, but as the week progresses, Priya once again finds herself doubting him and Suki, and she even confronts Ravi. Vinny organises a family dinner under the guise of bringing unity to the family, but he deliberately leaves out Priya.

She turns up uninvited and creates a commotion, convinced that they're all manipulating Nish, while she is also seen getting close to him. EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
