EastEnders star Louisa Lytton announces next role in 2:22 A Ghost Story
EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has confirmed she'll be joining the UK touring production of 2:22 A Ghost Story.
Lytton, best known for playing Ruby Allen in the BBC soap, will join another former EastEnders star, Joe Absolom, in the popular play.
It's a Sin and The Witcher: Blood Origin star Nathaniel Curtis joins the soap stars in the touring production, alongside Mayflies actress Charlene Boyd. 2:22 A Ghost Story will tour theatres nationwide from September.

In the play, Jenny (Lytton) and her husband Sam (Curtis) invite their old friend Ben (Absolom) and his new partner Lauren (Boyd) to a dinner party. Jenny believes her new house is haunted, and asks her guests to stay up until 2:22am to get answers.
Lytton shared news of her exciting new role with her followers on Instagram. In an official statement, she praised writer Danny Robbins for producing such a clever piece of theatre.
"Layered, slick and extremely chilling, writing like this does not come around often, a gift of a role," she said. "I cannot wait to get started with this amazing team!"

Meanwhile, Absolom, who played Matthew Rose on EastEnders, said: "I've heard so much about 2:22 so am really honoured to be asked to join the new cast. I can't wait to see how A Ghost Story plays out in the medium of theatre… Boo!"
Another former EastEnders star, Ricky Champ, is starring in the current run of 2:22 at London's Apollo Theatre.
He's joined by One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush, plus Jaime Winstone and Samuel Clifford, in the latest West End production, which will run until September 17. Tickets are still available via LOVEtheatre.
Meanwhile, the UK touring production of 2:22 will begin on September 1 at Bath's Theatre Royal, with current cast performances scheduled to run at various theatres across the UK until December 2, 2023.
A new touring cast will be announced in due course for the 2024 cross-country run.
