Easy does it! Watch driver's perilous passing manoeuvre just inches from sheer cliff drop

A daring driver who found a mountain road blocked by an excavator completed this nail-biting manoeuvre to squeeze past – only inches from the cliff edge.

Footage in China shows the driver of the white Lexus LX faced with the impossible task of getting past the digger, which had been left in the middle of the road.

The digger owner was nowhere to be found, and the Lexus owner and his friends were determined to get past.

Despite the prospect of certain death, the man decided to attempt to drive around the digger on a section of dirty road only slightly wider than his car.

All of the passengers got out of the car, leaving the driver to tackle the bend alone.

One of his friends took the chance to record the manoeuvre from the safety of the road.

The man recording the video can be heard saying repeatedly: ‘You’ve made it, you’ve made it.’

While the exact location the video was filmed is not clear, the car’s plates suggest the driver is from Shanghai in East China.
