Edie Falco Explains Why She Can’t Watch ‘The Sopranos’

Edie Falco visited The Talk and told the hosts that she still hasn’t seen many of the episodes of The Sopranos. It’s been 10 years since the show ended, and she decided to try to watch the entire series. Falco played Carmela Soprano, wife of mobster Tony Soprano, who was played by the late James Gandolfini.

She got together with Aida Turturro, who played Janice Soprano. They watched the first four episodes of Season 1 but couldn’t go further. Falco said that experience was too evocative for them. Instead of watching the story unfold, they reminisced about castmates and behind-the-scenes memories. Falco said, “It was too much.”
