Elle Barnes: Missing person appeal for woman last seen in North Belfast

Police have said they are becoming "increasingly concerned for the welfare" of a woman missing from North Belfast.

24-year-old Elle Barnes was last seen walking in the Ballysillan area of the city this morning, Tuesday, July 2.

She is described as being 5 ft 1 inches tall, with a slim build, and blonde shoulder length hair. Elle was last seen wearing a black puffa coat and holding a light coloured bag.

Police have asked anyone who sees Elle to contact them as a matter of urgency.

In a statement they said: "Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing 24 year old female Elle Barnes. Elle was last seen walking in the Ballysillan area of North Belfast this morning. If you see Elle please contact police as a matter of urgency. Elle is 5ft 1 tall slim build with blonde shoulder length hair wearing a black puffa coat with a light coloured bag."
