Emergency services called to Glasgow Springfield Quay 'disturbance' as woman arrested

A woman has been arrested and charged following a disturbance at Springfield Quay in Glasgow.

The incident happened at around 6.35pm last night (Wednesday) with emergency services rushing to the scene shortly after.

Images seen by Glasgow Live show a number of police vans in attendance at the scene outside the entertainment complex on the River Clyde waterfront.

Police Scotland has now confirmed a 29-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.

A spokesperson said: "Around 6.35pm on Wednesday, 19 June, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance in Springfield Quay, Glasgow.

"A 29-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection.

"A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
