Emmerdale fans 'convinced' who will bring down Tom King amid Belle's pregnancy - and it isn't a Dingle

Emmerdale fans are now 'convinced' of who will finally expose the truth about Tom King after it was revealed his wife Belle is pregnant. There were more difficult-to-watch scenes at the start of the week when a terrified Belle told her husband she was pregnant as he went to hit her.

As fans of the ITV soap know, a horrifying abuse storyline is playing out between the newly married couple in which they have watched Tom's coercive and abusive behaviour towards his new wife progressively worsen in recent months.

Since they tied the knot, Tom has put a tracker on his wife's phone, forcing them into owning a dog and setting up a 'pup cam' in their home, secretly causing problems for her in her new job at Take A Vow, and is also slowly isolating her from her family. More recently, viewers saw Tom burn Belle's hand with boiling water, before turning the tables on her.

She pushed him in the middle of the village in view of Marlon Dingle, Rhona Goskirk and Vanessa Woodfield, he made out he was the victim and that Belle had been struggling with her mental health, leading her to leaving their home and going into a facility. She has since returned but the abusive behaviour has continued and Belle recently discovered she was pregnant, with nurse Wendy Posner being the first to know.

She sensed Belle's unrest at the news and was later seen checking in on her. But during Wednesday night's (June 12) Emmerdale, despite promising Belle he wouldn't tell anyone, Tom shared her pregnancy news with his aunt Nicola King, uncle Jimmy King and Rhona Goskirk.

When Belle walked into the cafe, where Tom was when he gave the update, the trio rushed to embrace and congratulate her, leaving her once again distraught at her husband's betrayal. Later on, the couple found themselves with Wendy back at the GP surgery as Tom booked Belle's appointment himself and demanded that all her appointment details be sent to him.

But when Tom was urged by the nurse to leave the room, the vet seemed fight back. However, Wendy stood her ground, leaving Tom with no other choice but to leave the room, which then led the nurse to question Belle over her state of mind. Belle let Wendy know she was fine, albeit hurt by Tom announcing she was pregnant without her approval.

And while nothing has currently come of Wendy's concern for Belle, Emmerdale fans think she could be the one to expose Tom once and for all. @shazbow16x said: "I reckon Wendy is gonna start clocking something isn’t right with Tom #emmerdale."
