Emmerdale fans 'convinced' by Meena Jutla link amid tense scenes

Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans spotted a connection to Meena Jutla as emotional scenes aired on Monday evening.

Despite being a deranged serial killer, Meena had quite the fanbase before she was jailed back in April 2022. She is likely to never be released from prison, having been sentenced to 75 years in prison for her horrific crimes.

Many who watch the soap lamented the character leaving at the time, with many Emmerdale fan accounts on social media still making reference to Meena. And in the latest instalment of the popular ITV drama, some viewers spotted a Meena link as Charity Dingle spoke candidly with Belle King.

Charity had managed to get Belle to the Woolpack, away from her abusive husband Tom King, by telling them that Lydia Dingle needed some support. Actually, Charity was trying to get to the bottom of why she never sees Belle any more, and why she is never away from her husband.

Belle did not react well to criticism of Tom, telling Charity: "You better back off". And while many watching at home were hopeful Charity's questioning may lead to Tom's downfall, some others couldn't help but notice the jacket Charity was wearing.

On Instagram, Pete said: "Charity is still wearing Meena's jacket", as Larry replied: "Yes I noticed that". Beth said: "Convinced that jacket Charity has on belonged to Meena?"

Angie said on X: "Is that.... Meena's jacket?"
