As it turns out, Leyla isn’t the only one left outraged. Jacob, too, feels that Leanna is being disposed of as though she’s rubbish. And when Liam then tasks Leyla with arranging Leanna’s funeral, Jacob suggests to her that he secretly help with the plans.
A decision is made on Robert’s future
Those who thought that Robert might just reappear are in for a disappointment, with Victoria set to reveal to Aaron that the jailbird isn’t going to appeal his conviction.
Aaron tells Vic that he’ll always be there for her, but he will be able to rely on the new man in his life Ben, whose lies are about to be exposed? Wendy, meanwhile, can’t help but feel conflicted about Robert serving such a long sentence.
Jimmy to admit that he strayed?
On the surface, it may seem as though Jimmy and Nicola are united once more. After all, the two of them are having a date night and Nico is setting the mood for a romantic evening by wearing a sexy dress. But she’s secretly feeling that the reconciliation has been a little forced and ends up confiding her anxieities in Laurel about the marriage remaining under strain.
But what she isn’t yet aware of is the guilt that’s currently swirling away in Jimmy’s head following his most recent attempt to kiss Mandy. And over a candlelit meal, as Nicola starts waxing lyrical about her husband’s faithfulness, Jimmy’s sense of recrimination starts to overwhelm him. Will he reveal all about his duplicitous behaviour?
Rumours circulate about Faith, Pollard and Brenda
The inseparable trio of Faith, Pollard and Brenda is raising eyebrows, with David commenting on their weird dynamic and Mackenzie making coded remarks about their living arrangements. And when Mack then observes Brenda giving Faith a massage after the latter pulls a muscle, those menage-a-trois rumours start to intensify.
However, when Sarah later overhears Faith talking about death, she frets about her great granny’s cancer having come back. After Faith admits that she’s had tests, she pleads with a distressed Sarah to keep quiet. But as Chas appears on the scene demanding to know the truth, it looks like Faith may well end up having to come clean…
