Emmerdale spoilers: Baby tragedy for Charity and Mackenzie, Naomi arrested

Charity and Mackenzie’s baby tragedy
Mackenzie is enjoying life as an expectant dad and is touched when Moira reassures him that he’s going to make for a great father. But events look set to take a tragic turn when, over at Jacob’s Fold, Charity is hit by a sudden wave of pain and starts to worry that something is wrong with the baby.
After finding her in agony on the floor, Mackenzie scoops Charity into his arms and takes her to hospital – but she’s of the opinion that it may already be too late. At the Early Pregnancy Unit, the two of them are soon left awaiting test results, but it’s not good news: Charity’s pregnancy is ectopic and therefore not viable.

Mackenzie is crushed as he and Charity then listen to the heartbeat of the baby they’ve just been told they’re going to lose. For her part, Charity tries to summon up the courage to deal with what she now has to do, feeling grateful that she has Mackenzie’s support.
He, though, is not as OK as he’s making out. So what will he make of Charity’s subsequent claim that she’s dealing with the loss and now wants to move on and have a normal life?
Has Naomi attacked Charles?
After Ethan asks Naomi to reconsider her stance on Charles, she agrees and arrives at the church to talk things through with him. But what starts as a civil conversation appears to turn sour when an upset and angry Naomi bursts out and storms off – her actions observed by Manpreet.
As she heads inside the church to investigate, Manpreet is distressed to find Charles lying unconscious. And when an ambulance arrives on the scene, Naomi rushes over to see what’s happened and appears shaken by events. Manpreet, though, sees red and angrily orders Naomi to get out.
Ethan then also shows up and finds himself at a loss as to how to handle things when Harriet arrests Naomi on suspicion of assault. Manpreet can’t help but compare the newcomer’s actions to those of Meena’s – but is she correct in her assumption? And will Charles be able to recover from his injuries?
Dawn struggles with Clemmie
Dawn and Billy will be seen breaking the news to Lucas that young Clemmie will be coming to live with them. But things get off to a slightly strained start when the little girl needs to be coaxed away from the social worker’s side.
In the end, it’s Lucas who manages to get Clemmie to come out of her shell, but tensions soon rise again when Clemmie panics that she’s mislaid her doll.
As a weary Dawn frets, it’s Kim who eventually comes to the rescue when she offers to take Lucas and Clemmie out for a while. But, at the playground, Clemmie’s mood darkens when Lucas innocently takes her toy away. Cue Clemmie scratching Lucas and then bursting into tears when she’s admonished by Kim. And when Dawn and Billy arrive to a scene of chaos, they immediately regret not having stayed with Clemmie.
