Coronation Street spoilers: Audrey makes tragic confession, Faye and Craig split

Audrey reveals she recently made an attempt on her own life on Coronation Street next week, plus there’s heartache in store for Faye when she makes a rash move.

Audrey’s shocking confession

Claudia is to make a return, when she’s spied by Ken, Rita and Audrey having a row over afternoon tea in a hotel dining room with her fellow Stillwaters retirement home resident Charles.

Following the argument, the eavesdropping Ken, Rita and Audrey all rush over to comfort Claudia. But Audrey ends up surprising everyone when, out of the blue, she announces that she herself recently tried to kill herself.

The next day, Audrey’s mood has gone from melancholy to upbeat when she calls at No 8 to reveal her plan to give the salon an expensive makeover. When Stephen later informs Ken and Rita, he can tell they know more than they’re letting on. But when he later grills his mum, she lies and makes out she just had a minor health scare.

Summer’s dreams are shattered

It’s a high-profile week as far as Summer and Aaron’s relationship is concerned. First, he’ll be seen sporting a fat lip, and will eventually reveal that the person who’s been causing his recent injuries is his violent, alcoholic dad.

After this admission, we’ll also witness Summer receiving her exam results, which include an X for English after she was disqualified. The week then goes from bad to worse when Summer collapses and, after regaining consciousness, explains that she accidentally forgot to take her insulin. But after rummaging through Summer’s bag, Aaron is left shocked by what he finds.

Craig packs his bags

Craig’s in Faye’s bad books after he asks Carla not to put her under too much pressure at work. After Faye tells him that she feels humiliated, Craig apologises, only to then present her with a special nightie designed to keep her cool and improve her sleep pattern.

Realising he’s made an error of judgement, Craig asks a distraught Faye if he should move back to his mum’s. And when she replies that her can do as he pleases, Craig packs his bags.

Following the bust-up, Faye decides to get drunk in the company of her workmates, but ends up making a pass at Michael. How will he respond? And is Craig destined to discover all?

Zeedan wants justice for Stu

Zeedan visits the prison to see Stu, who tells him about his case files and how he intends to prove his innocence. So Zee’s next move is to call at the solicitor’s office to ask Adam to request to see the relevant documents.

The trouble is, access to the case files will cost £1200, so Zeedan ends up putting pressure on Alya to help him do right by Stu and go halves on the legal fees. Ultimately, Alya agrees to offer assistance, so she and Zeedan decide to split the expense.

But Yasmeen is currently in the dark about what the pair are up to, and is also in no mood to have any contact at all with Stu, killing the call when he contacts her from prison.
