It’s aftermath week in Emmerdale, so the ITV1 soap is keeping the drama concerning Angel and the car crash we reported on last week a secret until nearer transmission.
The plotline will, of course, feature prominently, but details remain under wraps for now.
Instead, we hear of the latest twist in the Charity/Mack/Chloe love triangle, while Belle steels herself to reveal all to Tom. How will he react?
For all this and more, read on for the Emmerdale spoilers covering the week of 29 May to 2 June 2023.

But Chloe is set to get caught up in the touching moment and leans in for a kiss. Mack quickly rejects her, but this won’t deter Chloe when it comes to falling for Mack all over again. Later on, Amy questions Chloe about her intentions as regards Mack, yet despite warnings being issued, Chloe appears determined to rebel.
Will Charity reconsider where Mack is concerned?
After spurning Chloe, Mackenzie instead switches his attention back to Charity. And when young Moses is seen running towards him at the playground, Charity is forced to let them spend time together.
Despite herself, Charity can’t help but enjoy them all acting as a family unit again and lets Mack know that she’ll agree to think about including him in the plans for Moses’s upcoming birthday.
Belle confides in Tom – but will she get the response she’s hoping for?
The ghost of Carl may currently be casting a large shadow over their relationship, but Jimmy and Tom are agreeing to a fresh start nonetheless.
Belle, meanwhile, takes the opportunity to open up about her struggles with her mental health, but her words leave Tom shocked. She’s therefore surprised when he kisses her and says he’s unfazed by the revelation. And Belle can’t help but be heartened that their relationship is so strong.
Affairs of the heart
There are developments on the relationship front in various quarters of the village. First there’s Nicky who, on the day of the stag and hen parties, agrees to meet Ally in private the following day.
Then we have Liam, who makes a last-ditch attempt to salvage his writing partnership with Wendy, only for her to upset them both by sticking to her decision to break things off. Plus Ryan and Gail become exclusive with each other.
Who is taking advantage?
Finally, Manpreet becomes suspicious about Claudette’s back pain. And it seems she’s right to be on her guard, as once alone, Claudette is moving with ease, her supposed injury nowhere to be found.
Elsewhere, Victoria admits to Laurel and Jai that she regrets agreeing to help Gabby boost The Hide’s online presence. Enter an opportunistic Amelia, who launches herself forward, determined to earn some extra cash as Dan is worried about his finances.
