Coronation Street spoilers: Daisy’s trial hell, Paul flees Gemma’s wedding as symptoms worsen
On Coronation Street next week Paul’s symptoms intensify at Gemma’s wedding, but will he admit the truth?
Roy heads to hospital – and writes a letter for Evelyn to be read in the event of his death. Plus there’s drama in the courtroom as Daisy faces Justin, while Ryan frets about giving his evidence.

Paul to come clean about his MND at Gemma’s wedding?
As Gemma makes final preparations for her wedding, Billy goes all-out to try to convince Paul to attend. And after hearing from Joseph that Gemma has been in tears, Paul apologises and all is forgiven.

But in the church, Paul will be seen battling his symptoms as he walks Gemma down the aisle. As vows are exchanged and the family cheers, it looks as though everything has gone without a hitch, but then Bernie finds out that Linda secretly funded the nuptials…
Hoping to defuse tensions, Paul makes a speech, only to grow emotional and hurry out, dragging his foot behind him. Is Gemma about to be left heartbroken on her big day?
Paul and Billy’s bittersweet holiday
There’s further tension for Paul on Wednesday when Billy accompanies him to the appointment with the MND specialist, who’ll reveal whether he’s a suitable candidate for Tofersen treatment.
Following all this, Paul and Billy decide that a holiday is needed. And as Paul packs some stuff, Billy pulls up in the church minivan that he’s borrowed for their trip. The vehicle itself is decorated with inflatable animals and – on Friday – the likes of Bernie, Gemma, Todd, Summer, Dee-Dee and Ed will be seen waving Billy and Paul off as they embark on their caravan minibreak.
Justin’s sister Karen makes her presence felt
On Monday, Justin’s sister Karen calls in at the Rovers to tell Daisy how sorry she is for Justin’s attack and expresses her hope that he’ll be sent down.
Daisy is touched by this show of support, but when Ryan and Carla arrive at the pub, a row ensues and, as insults are thrown, Ryan reminds Daisy how she went out of her way to drive a wedge between him and Alya.
Courtroom fears for Ryan and Daisy
As will soon be revealed, Karen is secretly spying on those connected to her brother’s case. And when Ryan discovers this, he finds himself too distressed to face the court. Daisy begs him to reconsider, as without Ryan’s advice, Justin could walk free. But will Ryan be swayed by her words?
Daniel, meanwhile, gets a grilling in court from Justin’s defence barrister, with Daisy painted as being highly strung and unreliable. But as she herself enters the witness box, will she have the strength to relive the attack and face Justin. And what will the man himself have to say when he takes the stand?
Will Evelyn open up to Roy?
There are anxieties ahead of Roy’s operation, with the café owner seen sleepwalking again. On Wednesday, he even leaves the café door open while in this state, which causes Freddie the dog to escape.
Roy also hands Evelyn a stack of letters he’s written, which are to be distributed in the event of his death. But Evelyn can’t resist taking a peek at hers and is left touched to realise how much she means to him. But after heading to the hospital to admit her own feelings, Evelyn is miffed to find Yasmeen already at Roy’s bedside with a surprise of her own…
