Kyle gets emotional on a prison visit to see Cain on Emmerdale next week, and is Chas’s world about to come crashing down?

Kyle’s guilt-filled meltdown
Matty wants Moira and Amy to go to the police, while Kyle is insisting that he can’t go to school because he misses his dad too much.

With concerns growing over her son’s state of mind, Amy tries negotiating with Kyle: if he goes to school, she’ll ask if Cain will see him. But both Amy and Moira are worrying about whether this visit should take place. Matty, meanwhile, is pushing for them to seek professional help. What none of them realise, though, is that Kyle has been eavesdropping on their conversations…
When the day of the visit then arrives, a guilt-ridden Kye breaks down when he sees Cain, who worries that he’ll now reveal their secret. Was it a good idea for the pair to have been brought face to face?
Chas’s affair to be exposed?
Chas is ready to put Al in the past and is feeling more appreciative of her family than ever before. Grateful for Paddy’s endless support, she’s privately ashamed that she came close to leaving him.
But trouble is brewing, what with Chloe telling Belle that Al took someone out to dinner on the night Faith died. With the penny dropping, Belle realises that Chas never ended her affair. And after being confronted, Chas finds herself unable to deny the truth when Belle starts firing questions.

Belle’s suspicion that this is also the reason why Cain killed Al leaves Chas manic with fear that Belle will tell the family. And soon enough, Belle will be seen putting Moira in the picture about what she knows. With Chas now preparing for a trip away with Paddy, will she be able to get out of the village before a furious Moira wades in?
Marlon is back in the kitchen
The sight of Marlon back in the Woolpack kitchen is one that delights both Chas and Charity. After a hellish year, it’s certainly good to have the pub’s chef cooking up a storm again.
Noami, too, is thrilled when Marlon offers her a job as his assistant. And wife Rhona also can’t help but be overjoyed to see her husband reinstalled where he belongs.
A roughed-up Vinny shocks Mandy
Mandy is left shocked to find Vinny looking battered and bruised. And when she offers him a room at the Dingles’, Vinny will be seen apologising for his recent behaviour.
But how will Vinny react when Mandy suggests renting Mill Cottage instead of selling it?
David hopes for a Christmas reunion
Bear decides that life as Santa Claus at the shop is not for him and bails out. David then steps up and dons the fake beard, a move which leaves Victoria impressed.
Clocking her reaction, David is left feeling hopeful that he and Vic can now get back on track. But has he read too much into her show of enthusiasm?

Ethan invites his boss for a meal, only to be left flustered when Greg arrives. Thankfully, help comes from Marcus who manages to calm his partner down.
