Emmerdale spoilers: Paddy and Chas kiss, breast cancer fear for Amelia

Might a reunion be on the cards on Emmerdale next week after Paddy and Chas kiss? One person who won’t be happy if they do get back together is Mandy…

Amelia, meanwhile, has worries about the state of her health, while Rhona has a dilemma to wrestle with when it comes to her frozen embryos.

Paddy kisses Chas

Paddy’s absence is being felt by Eve, so he offers to spend more time with her and Chas as a family.

Upcoming scenes will then see Paddy reading to Eve, while Chas listens in, heartened that they’re together in the same room. Later on, Paddy offers Chas a hug, which then leads to an impromptu kiss. But the moment is interrupted when Eve calls down from upstairs and the pair pull away instantly.

The following day, though, Bear confronts Chas about the situation – a move that leaves Paddy furious. Yet Chas can’t help but wonder whether Paddy’s reaction means that he still has feelings for her. Her next move is to then address all this with the man himself, but what effect will Chas’s words have on Paddy when she begs him for forgiveness and asks that he come home for good?

Mandy makes an error at the salon

On the day after the aborted kiss, Charity and Chas visit the Salon where they’ll be seen popping the champagne ahead of the wedding while in the company of Mandy. But when she learns about Chas’s actions with Paddy, Mandy is left trying to keep a lid on her feelings.

However, after getting increasingly overwhelmed, Mandy rushes out for coffee, only to bump into Paddy, who explains that he’s in turmoil over whether he should reunite with Chas.

Altruistic Mandy then encourages Paddy to take the course of action that makes him happy. But realising that she’s late to check on Charity’s hair, Mandy races back to the salon, where she finds her client looking like a curly blonde poodle.

Rhona’s big decision

Rhona’s birthday lunch at the Woolpack is rocked when Gus turns up with wife Lucy in tow. Rhona is unsure how to respond to the situation, but Mary takes charge, aiming her ire at Gus and Lucy and leaving them crushed as a result.

What we’ll see next is Rhona deciding to get some air and spotting Gus comforting a heartbroken Lucy. It’s a spectacle that results in her deciding to let the pair use her embryos, but Marlon is left stunned, while Mary can’t help but reel when she learns what her daughter is doing.

The next day, Marlon points out to his wife that she may find it hard to stay away if one of the embryos becomes a baby – an argument that leaves Rhona wondering whether he could be right. But will she end up shattering Gus and Lucy’s dreams?

Amelia’s breast cancer worry

Amelia is voicing concerns about who would look after Esther should anything happen to her. And when Victoria tries to offer words of reassurance, Amelia just hurries off.

Her destination is the doctors’ surgery, where Amelia confides in Manpreet that she’s found a lump on her chest. But her feelings of panic rise when the GP refers her to the breast clinic.

Later, at the playground, Amelia receives a call informing her that the clinic needs to see her the following day. But when Noah witnesses her crying, he decides not to go over. To whom could Amelia turn in her time of need?
