Yahoo News Emmerdale viewers split on Paddy and Rhona reunion
So tonight's Emmerdale (August 22) was a pretty emotional one, with Rhona Goskirk at the centre of things.
Realising that, despite being behind bars for raping her, Pierce was still dominating her thoughts, she accepted his invitation to visit him in prison and she was amazing.
She let him get out an apology about it all and heard how it had affected him, before telling him exactly what he was – a sex offender – and that she was going to "live her life as best she can" without him ruining it.
Viewers thought it was an incredible scene.

Elsewhere, she and Paddy spent the night together, leading up to the possibility that they might be getting back together.
Firstly, viewers basically thought Paddy had lost the plot when he had a little chat with a lamb about what happened. He even apologised for "over-sharing", which made him look even more barmy.

Some are not on board as he cheated on her when they were married, and some think it's the wrong time given her recent traumatic court case with rapist Pierce.
