Emmerdale's Chloe receives warnings over future with Mackenzie

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Chloe Harris reaches a crossroads tonight (June 1) as she receives some advice over the risks of pursuing Mackenzie Boyd.

Chloe is hoping to secure a traditional family unit with Mack, following the good news that their baby son Reuben has been given the all-clear from the hospital after his health scare.

Last night, Chloe leaned in to kiss Mack after spending the day with him and Reuben. Mack immediately pulled away, still not prepared to give up on the possibility of being forgiven by his estranged wife Charity Dingle.

In Thursday's episode, Charity's son Moses makes life awkward for her by running towards Mack in the street.

With Moses putting pressure on, Charity reluctantly allows them to spend some time together.

Mack makes the most of this olive branch and enjoys hanging out with Charity and Moses again.

Despite her best efforts to remain frosty towards Mack, a torn Charity also finds pleasure in being a family unit again. She even agrees to consider including Mack in Moses' birthday plans.

Later, Chloe's sister Amy finds out what's going on between her and Mack.

Amy doesn't hold back from offering her advice, warning Chloe off from upsetting the Dingles by taking things any further with Mack.

Despite this, it seems that Chloe is ready to fight for what she wants, sparking a new love triangle.

Jessie Elland, who plays Chloe, recently explained: "Amy finds out that Chloe has got feelings for Mackenzie. That's really nice, because we see they're properly sisters now. Their relationship has really developed, and the way they talk about it is really sisterly, which is nice.

"Having said that, Amy makes it clear that she thinks this is a bad idea. Amy has lived in the village for long enough to know what Charity is like, and know what the Dingles are like.

"Amy does share some strong words of caution. But, with Chloe being Chloe, she wants to fight for what's right for her and right for Reuben.

"Chloe does have a streak of stubbornness, which is probably a Wyatt trait as well. If someone tells you 'don't do it', it's like 'why not? I want to do it now'."

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
