Every commuter's worst nightmare: man gets head stuck in Tube doors

Sometimes, in a packed Underground train, it is hard to get away from the doors.

A scarf or part of a long coat can easily get stuck in the closing doors, but a scene from St Paul's on Wednesday morning shows a more unlikely and rather horrifying scenario.

A London Underground worker was filmed getting his head stuck in the closing doors.

According to bystanders, the man was stuck for around ten minutes.

Transport for London confirmed there were no injuries from the incident.

The member of staff was helping passengers get off the train after it was taken out of service.

A spokesperson for TfL said: "He is a member of staff, and he is fine.

"The train was being taken out of passenger service and he was helping get customers off".
