Get ready for the next battle! Tekken 8's roster is starting to ramp up, especially now Bandai Namco has revealed that the game is releasing on January 26, 2024.
Thanks to Gamescom's Opening Night Live, we now know that Tekken 8 will launch with 32 characters to choose from. Bandai Namco was also kind enough to show off another six characters who'll be joining the roster at launch. They'll no doubt be getting special individual trailers alongside every other revealed character so far, giving us a better look at their appearance, movesets and bombastic rage arts.
Most of Tekken 8's roster are returning characters from previous entries, but we've had the announcement of a brand-new face, some updated versions of old characters like Jack-8, and others like Jun Kazama who are excitedly making their first appearance in over a decade. As we get ever closer to the next King of Iron Fist tournament, here's everyone who's confirmed so far, plus a few fighters who've appeared through leaks
Tekken 8 character roster
Bandai Namco has officially announced 24 of Tekken 8's 32 characters, and almost all of them have special individual trailers which I've linked below. The only characters without trailers are the ones who were just announced at Gamescom, so they'll more than likely start trickling in over the next few weeks.
Tekken 8 leaked characters
Bandai Namco went leak-free for a good few months, but between a few unfortunate early trailer uploads and datamining, the Tekken 8 pipe has well and truly burst.
Between recent character reveals and Gamescom's confirmation of a 32-character base roster, we can all but confirm that the full roster leak that emerged from 4chan is legit. If you're desperately wanting to know if your favourite made it in, here's every unannounced character who appears in the leak:
