Exterior Wall of Mexico City School Destroyed in Earthquake

The outer wall of an elementary school in Santa Cruz Meyehualco, a suburb to the south of Mexico City, collapsed on September 19, after a powerful 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck approximately 100 miles south of the capital in the state of Puebla.

No deaths or injuries were reported at this school, but multiple building collapses across Mexico City caused widespread damage and hundreds of casualties. As of 9am local time on September 20, the official death toll stood at 225. Credit: YouTube/Joss Flores via Storyful
