Falling Russian satellite lights up skies over Michigan

A Michigan man captured footage of what appeared to be a meteor streaking across the sky above his home in Mount Pleasant last Wednesday (October 20). The American Meteor Society later revealed the object to be Kosmos-2551, a Russian spy satellite that failed to stay in orbit after being launched in early September.
