Fancy Getting Your Hands On Ed Sheeran’s Boxers?

If you’ve ever fancied getting your hands on Ed Sheeran’s boxers, then today is your lucky day because the singer with a heart the size of Jupiter is giving a pair away to help raise money for CoppaFeel.

The charity, founded in 2009 by Kristin Hallenga who was diagnosed with breast cancer aged 23, educates people on the importance of checking themselves regularly and what the signs and symptoms of breast cancer are.

The Mirror reports that Eddy and his heart of gold have donated a pair of signed blue Superman boxers to Heather Walters, a mum-of-two who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

To help raise money for CoppaFeel (who she’s already raised a hugely impressed £12,000 for), she’s holding an auction night in Woolacombe, asking women to donate their bras.

Ed isn’t the only famous face getting involved though - Fearne Cotton, Kelly Brook, Nick Grimshaw, Cara Delevingne, the cast of Hollyoaks and more are all donating (signed) underwear to the cause, too.

Speaking about the event, Heather admitted: “Even if some of them only sell for a fiver, it wouldn’t matter to me.

“It’s going to be a symbolic night where everyone who’s helped me with this is going to be in one room.”

Details of how to enter the bid are on The Mirror Online.

It’s been a busy week for Ed Sheeran, who has received an honorary doctorate from University Campus Suffolk for his ‘outstanding contribution to music’.

Speaking to reporters, Ed said: “Suffolk is very much where I call home. Receiving this recognition is a real privilege.

“I’ve had an amazing year … and this makes it even better.”

Congratulations, Ed - or should we say Dr Ed?
