Fight breaks out between rival photographers at Tim Farron’s polling station

The battle to capture the best images of Lib Dem leader Tim Farron casting his vote got a little heated this morning.

Photographers jostled to get the best image of Mr Farron voting at his Westmoreland and Lonsdale constituency – then it turned into an all-out scrap.

Tim Farron had to go round to another entrance as photographers barged and jostled one another – with one pulling the wire out of a rival’s camera.

One photographer at the front appears to get shoved sideways, then he turns round and barges the apparent culprit.

At that point, another crew member joins in – and tries to yank the cable out of his camera.

Tim Farron can be heard saying, ‘I’ll go this way, then.’
