First Taylor Swift fans 'running on Skittles' after arriving at Anfield for The Eras Tour
Taylor Swift fans have been arriving outside Anfield stadium today ahead of the global superstar's first Eras Tour concert in the city.
Taylor will perform at Anfield for the first time tonight, Thursday, June 13, followed by two more shows on Friday and Saturday, June 14, and 15. Taylor's Eras Tour is a culmination of Swift’s entire musical career, with different sections of the concert performances representing each album - and fans have been planning for the concert for almost a year. From making friendship bracelets to trade with other concert-goers to finding the perfect outfit for their chosen album era, fans have gone all out.
Fans have been arriving at the stadium since early this morning and the ECHO has been bringing you live updates from Anfield ahead of the event. Many fans have flown to Liverpool to see Taylor, whereas others have travelled from elsewhere in the UK to see the Grammy-Award winner.

The first show, taking place tonight, is set to be even more special than usual, as it is the 100th gig of the tour. Fans, known as Swifties, quickly realised Taylor is approaching the milestone and have been speculating how she will mark the occasion, which takes place on the 13th day of the month - the musician's lucky number.
Some theories suggest a new album could be announced, whereas others think she will bring out a special guest - Paul McCartney. ECHO reporter Megan Banner has been outside Anfield speaking to some of the first Swifties to arrive.
At the front of the queue is Elise, 19, from Liverpool. The group arrived at Anfield at 4.30am, having attended the Doja Cat concert in Birmingham last night.
They said they got back at 2.30am and woke up the following hour to be among the first at Anfield Stadium. Elise said the group are "exhausted" but "running on adrenaline."
She said: "I’m running on Skittles. We've been waiting for this for so long."
Gracie Simmons, 19, began queuing at Anfield at 4.30am this morning. She's travelled with her mum, Anitta, from Mississippi to see the concert.
Wrapped in a blanket and with her stunning Lover-inspired boots by her side ready for tonight, Gracie told the ECHO: "This is my first time seeing Taylor. I’m very excited. I’m so excited to see her - this is crazy. I’m excited for Tortured Poets.”

Looking glam in glitter and sequins, Renan, 36, from Manchester and Thayana, 34, from Newcastle, have been waiting since 7am. Renan said: "I’m excited to see the era called Evermore. It’s extremely sad."
Thayana added: "I’m excited for everything, but since this show is the 100th, everyone thinks she’s going to do something special - that is the exciting part. I’m going to see if she will do something special.
"There is so many theories that she will announce a new album. We saw her Reputation tour a few years ago in Manchester.”
Wrapped up in blankets early this morning were three friends who travelled together from Devon to see Taylor Swift. Yasmine, Lottie and Lara said it took them six hours to get to Liverpool.
They said they're "super excited for tonight" and that this is their second time in the city.
Matching in all pink, the ECHO also spoke to Emma and her dad Peter, from Leicestershire. The pair brought camp chairs and ponchos in preparation for their wait.
Emma, who has been a Swiftie since she was seven, said: "It’s a dad daughter thing for us to come and see Taylor."
Katie, Lucy, Paddy and Emily have travelled to Anfield from Gloucestershire and have made over one thousand bracelets and jackets for tonight. They’re here because "Taylor is the queen."
Katie said: “I love her, she unites people. She’s incredible. She’s really cool and everyone loves her." Katie said her dad "bleeds red" and is gutted it’s the only time that she’s come to Anfield for a Taylor Swift gig and not for a Liverpool game
