The Fit List: Vogue Williams picks six health and fitness essentials
Irish model, television and radio personality Vogue Matthews (née Williams) married Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, Pippa Middleton’s brother-in-law, in June 2018.
The couple welcomed their first baby, Theodore, in September – and since then, their reality TV show Spencer, Vogue and Baby Too, documenting their first-time parenthood, has become a runaway success.
Last month, the Dubliner led the best dressed attendees at Cheltenham Ladies Day in a full-length tartan coat – but, known for her active lifestyle, you’re just as likely to spot her working out in her favourite pair of Sweaty Betty leggings.
Vogue did body barre classes during her pregnancy, and has kept active “every day” since having Theodore, changing it up in order to stay motivated. More recently, she's been spotted at Boom Cycle spin studios in London.
“I like to do at least one weight training workout a week and I love spinning,” she says. “I can get quite bad anxiety, and if I don’t train it builds up over a number of days – I like to keep it in check. It’s good for your body, but it’s also good for your mind.

“I tend to adapt my activities to where I am, whether jogging, yoga, muay thai, horse riding, playing tennis, swimming lengths or just doing a body weight workout in my room. If I’m having an active rest day, I walk my dog.”
Next up, she’s set to fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a jockey, embarking on five months of intensive training before competing in a charity horse race.
Here, Vogue reveals the health and wellbeing essentials she can’t live without...
The sports bra
Shock Absorber Ultimate Run non-wired sports bra (£36, John Lewis)
“When I was breastfeeding I found I needed extra support for running – I asked people on Instagram for recommendations and they said Shock Absorber was the best one. It’s really worked for me.”
Exercise sliders
Fitness Bug exercise gliders (£6.95 for a set of 2, Amazon)
“Exercise gliders are great, and you can easily fit them in your bag – they’re designed to slide on a hard or wooden floor and you can use them to intensify a full-body workout.”
Dark chocolate
70% dark chocolate sharing bag (£15.78 for six 110g bags, lilyobriens.co.uk)
“I don’t believe in diets, and I have to have chocolate every day – I crave it! I often have dark chocolate from Lily O’Briens. I eat anything in moderation and I try to eat healthily, but if I do feel like eating Chinese food or pizza then I will.”
Heliocare
Heliocare SPF 50 tinted gel (£25.19 for 50ml, Amazon)
“I don’t wear makeup, especially to go to the gym, but I use Heliocare tinted SPF 50 products, which were recommended to me by a dermatologist.”
Barry’s Tea
Barry's Tea Gold Blend (£3 for a pack of 80 teabags, Tesco)
“I drink six cups of Barry’s Tea, which I bring over from Ireland, every day – but I try to have decaf at night because otherwise I can’t sleep.”
Resistance bands
Theraband resistance bands (£2.45 - £22.30, Amazon)
“I love using resistance bands combined with HIIT (high intensity interval training), because I can carry them everywhere and fit in a really tough workout in half an hour while Theodore is asleep.”
