Flash Flooding Submerges Cars and Roads in West Virginia

Flash flooding hit areas of West Virginia, including the town of Glenville, on Thursday, April 11, damaging cars and other property.

Footage filmed by Alexis Beall shows floodwater submerging cars and the road outside her home.

“I heard something hitting the house, and I went to look outside and the water was up to the bottom of my porch,” Beall told Storyful.

Beall added that one of the two cars parked outside her home was turned “all the way sideways” by the flooding.
