Foden, Haaland, Stones - Man City injury news and return dates for Brighton

Pep Guardiola may be forced to deal with several injury concerns for Manchester City's next fixture.

City are currently preparing to face Brighton on Thursday night in the Premier League. Guardiola and Co. go into the game behind both Liverpool and Arsenal in the league standings as the title race continues.

The weekend saw City secure a spot in the FA Cup final with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea. Now City will return to Premier League action as continue their quest to secure a double this term.

However, City may have some of their key players on the sidelines due to injury. Going into the game there are concerns around the fitness of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and John Stones following the win over Chelsea at the weekend.

Erling Haaland missed the FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea with a muscle issue and remains a doubt for City.

The striker was not involved in City training on Tuesday as concerns continue to grow over his fitness. Guardiola is expected to provide an update on Haaland's availability for the match against Brighton when he speaks to the media on Wednesday.

Phil Foden

Phil Foden has emerged as one of the latest fitness concerns for City ahead of the fixture against Brighton.

Foden was not involved in City training on Tuesday and is a doubt for the game against the Seagulls. Guardiola is likely to be asked about Foden's fitness when he gives his pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture.

John Stones

John Stones is another fitness worry after being substituted at half-time of the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

There were concerns after the game that Stones may have suffered an injury during the game. However, Stones was spotted taking part in training on Tuesday, easing those fears, and hinting that he could be involved against Brighton on Thursday night.
