Former Coronation Street star Nigel Havers has teased a possible return, despite having an on-air death scene.
Nigel played Audrey Roberts' one-time love Lewis Archer on and off for ten years, before being killed off in a dramatic 2019 episode.
The legendary actor looked back on his time on the cobbles while appearing on This Morning, where co-host Rylan Clark asked if he'd ever consider returning.
"I had a heart attack and died," Nigel reminded Rylan.

When the This Morning co-presenter quipped that a death "means nothing in soap", Nigel suggested that maybe Lewis has "a twin brother living in Australia".
Asked if he'd go back if producers came up with an excuse, Nigel insisted: "Of course, never ever say never, we're mad to do that!"
Nigel's character Lewis Archer had been part of a massive storyline before he was killed off, as viewers questioned whether he truly loved Audrey or had been trying to scam her out of her money.
The suggestion of Lewis having a twin isn't a new one for Nigel, as he previously suggested that the idea be used back in 2019.
"Sue [Nicholls] text me the other day saying, 'I hope you're polishing up your Brazilian accent'. So, there's a clue," he said at the time.
The character was killed off on New Year's Day in 2019 just as he was about to propose, seemingly confirming that he'd actually had feelings for Audrey.
Meanwhile, Audrey's family weren't quite as suspicious of her long-lost son Stephen last year when he really did manage to steal from her home equity! Much like Lewis, Stephen also had a dramatic on-screen death.
