Former 'Hollyoaks' star Jazmine Franks is expecting her first child.

The 30-year-old actress - who played Esther Bloom on the Channel 4 soap from 2011 to 2018 - has announced she and her personal trainer partner Danny Potter are set to become parents this summer.

She captioned two pictures of her showcasing her bonny baby bump in a black jumpsuit and a copy of her baby scan on her Instagram: "Here’s to the biggest adventure yet.

"Summer 2023 is set to be a wild one! Can’t wait to cause mayhem with a mini Franks-Potter."

Since leaving 'Hollyoaks', Jazmine has followed in her boyfriend's footsteps by training as a personal trainer and has transformed her lifestyle.

She revealed recently: "There's 6 months and a 8kg difference between these pictures so it's been a very slow process but I wanted to make sure I still had a social life.

"I still enjoy desserts and I still enjoy a gin.

"Having time on my side has played a massive part, leaving Hollyoaks gave me the freedom to focus on me...

"I feel really good at the moment, I've learnt to say no to the food I don't actually need to eat, to the events I don't actually want to go to and to the things I don't actually want to."

Jazmine added: "I've had a bit of time out and I feel wonderful for it. Also can we have a little giggle at the fact I'm sat with pizza in my hand in the photo on the left."

In 2020, the actress admitted she was keen to return to acting, but with auditions "few and far between", she started working at a homeless charity to fill her time.

Writing in new! magazine, she explained: "Leaving 'Hollyoaks' in 2018 after eight years was a huge turning point for me. I went from being busy and constantly in demand to everything suddenly stopping.

"With auditions few and far between, I decided to throw myself into working full-time at the homeless charity where I'd been volunteering for a couple of years.

"I'd love to start acting again - it's my passion and I miss it. I've started taking classes again. I've joined WeAudition, where casting directors give open talks and I've told my agent that I'd really like more auditions."
