Bus services will be diverted to the Queensferry Crossing due to essential works being carried out on the Forth Road Road Bridge for several nights this summer.

Works on the central grillage will be carried out in both directions from 7.30pm until 6am on the nights of Tuesday July 2 and Wednesday July 3.

It is understood that the bus stops at either end of the Forth Road Bridge will not be in use due to the diversion.

The Forth Road Bridge has solely been used by larger vehicles such as lorries and buses except during diversions since the construction of the Queensferry Crossing.
