Frank Bruno has ruled himself out of the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

The former boxer says he has no desire to take part in the show, despite a big fee apparently having being offered (via Daily Mirror).

And his reason?

"You'll never see me in the jungle. I don't want to eat any balls or nothing – that's not my cup of tea," the 55-year-old said (perfectly reasonably).

Another star who's turned down the show is Line of Duty's Daniel Mays, who told Digital Spy: "That's definitely not happening. No, I don't want to do those sort of things, but good luck to anyone who wants to have a stab at it I guess."

As for which stars will be eating balls et al... no one has been confirmed yet. Some of the rumoured names, though, include former England manager Sam Allardyce, Love Island favourite Kem Cetinay, and Honey G of X Factor fame.

And we do know Ant McPartlin will be rejoining Declan Donnelly as a presenter on the show, following his visit to rehab for addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol.

In his first interview since finishing rehab last month, Ant spoke about how a 2014 knee injury and a battle with depression contributed to his struggle with prescription drugs.

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! will return to ITV this autumn.
