Despite being a staple on UK television for years, it appears that one episode of the beloved sitcom Frasier has been consistently omitted from Channel 4's schedule. The acclaimed show, which first aired in 1993 and stars Kelsey Grammer as the eponymous character, is a spin-off from Cheers and ran for 11 seasons before concluding in 2004.

A revival was launched last year. The series is currently broadcast on weekday mornings in the UK, but eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the season 11 episode, High Holidays, is always conspicuously absent.

In this particular instalment, Niles (played by David Hyde Pierce) regrets not rebelling during his youth and decides to purchase a cannabis-infused brownie. However, his father Martin (John Mahoney) unknowingly consumes the brownie and replaces it with a regular one, resulting in him becoming inadvertently intoxicated.

Believing himself to be under the influence of drugs, a sober Niles arrives at Frasier's apartment intending to indulge in the 'munchies' and savour the 'sweet nectar of rebellion'. Instead, he encounters a confused Martin who is raiding the snack cupboard and inventing 'fridge pants'.

It falls to Frasier to resolve the situation by getting his father to bed and informing his brother that he is certainly not high. Channel 4 has yet to reveal the reason for the episode being skipped, but it's speculated that it could be due to scenes featuring drug use.

Fans expressed their confusion as to why it isn't regularly broadcast in the UK, despite being available on demand. On the show's dedicated Reddit page, user Eppinizer vented: "I would have never imagined that Frasier of all shows would be censored."

Another user, OK_Cranberry, noted: "They never show the pot brownies one. Not seen that one for a long time."

User Stirccrazed suggested: "They don't usually show High holidays the one where Freddie is a goth. Probably not allowed with the drug references at that time in the morning."
