A popular chocolate shop on Park Street has unveiled the flavours on the menu for its frozen hot chocolate festival this year. Mrs Potts Chocolate House, known for its homemade hot chocolates, bakes and chocolate creations, launched its frozen hot chocolate festival last year and, due to its popularity, it's back for 2024.

Running throughout June and all through summer, the team at Mrs Potts say: "Frozen hot chocolate is not just any summer drink. It's a cooler lighter delight made with real chocolate ganache and a scoop of ice cream, giving it a uniquely rich yet airy texture.

"While milkshakes are creamy and thick, frozen hot chocolate offers a frosty chocolate experience that's simply unmatched." Prices range in the region of around £6-£8.

This year's flavours include the ever-favourite Malted Milk, a strawberry white chocolate version, Black Forest flavoured and a Vegan Bounty, as well as the 'Matilda', which includes chunks of Mrs Potts' own take on the famous Matilda cake.

Mrs Potts is no stranger to special occasions and chocolate-inspired festivals. In October, their annual 'Hot Choctoberfest' provides fans with weird and wonderful hot chocolate flavours - like this maple bacon creation from a few years ago. While the chocolate house also hosts regular dessert nights, including Christmas and Valentine's Day options.

During the summer months, Mrs Potts is now a firm favourite for ice cream floats, sundaes and milkshakes aplenty. And now it seems there's an annual festival dedicated to all things frozen and chocolatey.
