Full list of King's Birthday Honours as local heroes recognised across West Midlands

Unsung heroes across the West Midlands have been recognised on the prestigious King's Birthday Honours list. Some of the region's greats were honoured for their actions.

Those who have been made OBEs include lately headteacher for Harborne Hill School Andrew Richard Wright and Beate Wagner, lately Director of Children's Services - both recognised for their service to education.

Others were made members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), including DWP Partnerships Manager Natalie Cartmell for her services to homeless people in Birmingham, and football coach Christopher George Robin Powell for services to Association Football.

Several others, including Anthony Patrick Kelly who raised awareness of diabetes in the UK and abroad, and Birmingham Children's Trust social work assistant Janet Anne Parks, were recognised as Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM).
