Fur Seal Chills Out at Sydney Beach

A fur seal was spotted relaxing at Manly Beach in Sydney on Monday, November 30, as beachgoers were warned to keep a safe distance.

The fur seal, which has been named Reg, is being closely monitored and has recently visited Sydney and other parts of the Central Coast, reports said.

Reg spent Monday night on the beach and was still resting there on Monday. ORRCA, a cetacean research and rescue group, advised the public not to feed or disturb the seal and to stay at least 40 meters away at all times. Credit: Paul Lo Russo via Storyful
