Game of Thrones poster: new teaser reveals what everyone is really fighting over

If you've spent hours of your working day re-watching epic recaps of everything that has happened so far in Game of Thrones, you're probably just as excited for the new season as we are.

Fans are dissecting anything GOT related from teasers, to promotional posters and trailers in a desperate bid to figure out how the whole saga is actually going to end. Theories have hit peak craziness, especially after HBO recently unveiled a new poster for season eight.

The latest teaser is a plain old simple picture of the Iron Throne - the thing everyone from Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) have been fighting over for the last eight years.

Look at it, and you'll probably see nothing out of the ordinary. But stop for a minute and look closer. Really close. Can you see it yet?

If you need a little help, cast your eyes over the armrests. See the glowing orange eyes? They are of course the eyes of a dragon, with the rest of the throne playing cameo to Daenerys' scaly reptile child - probably Drogon by the looks of it.

So after eight seasons, the implication is pretty simple: there's more to those dragons than we initially thought. What that is, we'll just have to wait until the series starts on April 15. All we know now, is that there's more at stake than just a fancy regal chair.
