Long before Tamer Hassan led the Dothraki masses on Game of Thrones, he was masterminding evil schemes on EastEnders.

Hassan originally starred in the BBC One soap back in late 2008, playing Suzy Branning's (Maggie O'Neill) evil ex-boyfriend Ahmet over the Christmas period.

The 49-year-old actor is also very familiar with the Queen Vic's current owner Danny Dyer from working together on Dyer's cult classic The Football Factory.

Speaking to OK Magazine, Tamer was asked if he'd consider reuniting with his old friend Danny Dyer on EastEnders in the near future.

"I would go back in an instant," he declared.

Tamer was most recently on the telly playing the misogynist Dothraki leader Khal Forzho in Game of Thrones, a part he landed after demonstrating a very special skill.

"I read for the first three seasons and originally for the part of [Jason Momoa's character] Khal Drogo, but it just never worked out," he remembered. "It got to the point where I said: 'Just tell them I'll do it for free!'

"In the end, my agent made me stop at the casting director's house as it was on the way to the airport when I was going to Ibiza. I read some bits in Dothraki and suddenly I had a job."

Maybe he can lead a Dothraki horde into Albert Square to battle the Carter family?
