Gemma Collins caused the entertainment world to have a mini-meltdown when she left Dancing on Ice early last weekend – and she's alleged that one of her castmates also told her to "f**k off".

Thereality star's professionalism was criticised by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield – after Kem Cetinay explained that she was having a nap backstage – but Gemma has now revealed the real reason she left the show early was because she was told her taxi was waiting outside and she wasn't needed back on set.

“I absolutely love Holly and Phil. I don’t know what went on there, they have been given false information," she told The Sun.

“If I was in their position and someone said, ‘This girl has left the show, she’s not turned up for rehearsals and that’, I would have said the same thing. I am not blaming Holly, I am not blaming Phil.

“I think deep in their hearts they know it’s not true. Holly said, ‘I love the GC’, and she does. Phil is always lovely to me.

“They are like legends on morning TV. I would never disrespect them or be rude to them. I want to be sitting in their seat that day!"

Gemma also claimed that eliminated contestant Mark Little told her to "f**k off" earlier in the day.

"I asked him how he was because I was being friendly but he took it the wrong way and he just snapped," she said. "Then he criticised my weight in an interview and I thought it was a low blow."

On the criticism she's received from viewers over her disappearance, she added: "The hurtful comments that I have had and all the nastiness towards me and Matt [Evers] when we have worked so hard has been really shocking to the point where I did want to quit because I thought this ain’t right.

"But we are not letting it stop us. I want to prove to everybody that you shouldn’t let anything stop you in life.

"It has not been easy. There have been laughs, and we have had lots of tears this week, but hopefully that will be the end of it. We are not letting it stop our routine.

"I have got an amazing routine this week and I should be buzzing about it but I can’ t because this has really has knocked my confidence."

Dancing on Ice continues this Sunday night (January 20) at 6pm on ITV.
