There is now less than a week to go until the general election.

Political parties have toured the countries fighting to form the next government since Rishi Sunak announced on May 22 he was going to the polls.

He said he would "fight for every vote" while Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said it was "time for change" away from "Tory chaos".

A long campaign has seen numerous TV debates between the two men and senior figures from other parties, as well as visits up and down the country.

Here in Hampshire, Sir Keir Starmer has visited Southampton, talking to workers at the port, while also stopping into Basingstoke.

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has also visited Romsey and Fair Oak on his campaign.

In 2019, Labour took two of the 18 constituencies that make up Hampshire - in Southampton Test and Portsmouth South - while the Conservatives won the other 16.

The Press Association has compiled a list of estimated declaration times for all 650 constituencies across the UK, including the 18 in Hampshire.

The news agency notes that it is a guide and all timings are approximate.

A declaration is when the count's returning officer stands up on stage and announces the number of votes each candidate has received, and who is elected for that particular constituency.

Timings can be affected by issues such as delays in verifying and counting ballots, or by recounts.
