George Clooney ‘Feels Like An Idiot’ When He Talks To Wife Amal

George Clooney reckons that his wife Amal is such a darn brain box that he regularly ‘feels like an idiot’ just talking to her.

Quizzed about his recent one year wedding anniversary at a 15th-anniversary screening of his O Brother, Where Art Tho?, the ever modest movie star said.

“Oftentimes, I feel like an idiot talking to my own wife, it’s never good!”

Tbf she is a bona fide human rights lawyer so pretty hefty in the brains department.

Speaking about their anniversary celebrations, which involved a getaway with Brangelina, George downplayed his efforts saying that they ‘just went for dinner’.

In fact, he reckons he didn’t even buy his wife a special present for the big day.

He explained: “Sometimes you just go to dinner, you know? This is the paper anniversary, you don’t want to go too crazy on the first. You’ve got a lot more to do.”

However, he admits that he did let his wife chose the venue for their big dinner even though he reckons he would have preferred to have gone to just one of their regular haunts.

“Amal picked the spot,” he said, of their night at the Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar. “I’m a creature of habit, so I might want to go down the street to the same sushi bar that I could eat at four nights a week… . She’s like, ‘No, that’s not going to happen—not for the anniversary! We’re not going to do that!’”
