“He was truly the love of my life. And I think I was the love of his life.

“He just wrote huge cheques, enormous ones. He gave away tens of millions of pounds to charity.”

Kenny, who found out about George’s death through the star’s sister, refused to comment on George’s partner of four years, Fadi – who has faced public scrutiny since George’s death.

It was initially believed that George had died from heart failure but it is now thought that the singer passed away following an overdose of either illegal or prescription drugs.

An initial post-mortem came back as inconclusive and a major crime unit from Thames Valley Police have been brought in to try and piece together the days leading up to the star’s death, even though it is still being treated as non-suspicious.
