Geri Horner bags presenting role on This Morning in a bid to launch telly career

Geri Horner is reportedly launching her TV presenter career with a stint on ‘This Morning’ alongside the legendary Rylan Clark-Neal.

Rylan announced the Spice Girl will join him on the breakfast show and replace Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on August 28 following weeks of ‘secret meetings’ with bosses at ITV.

After he spilled the news on Twitter, Geri retweeted his message and confirmed: ‘Can’t wait!’

Geri is keen to crack the presenting world and hopes the show will be her first step on her glittering new career path.

‘It’s going to be the beginning of a glittering TV career. It’s a massive coup for ‘This Morning’ to sign Geri,’ a source said.

And her fans have given her their full support.

It’s believed the singer, 44, wants to reinvent herself and will be popular with stay-at-home mums.

The source added: ‘Geri wants to reinvent herself as a telly host and this was an offer she couldn’t turn down. She is very popular and has a massive following, especially with stay-at-home mums.’
