German newlyweds surprised by Tartan Army celebration with bagpipes in brilliant video


A German couple got an unexpected surprise after their wedding ceremony, as enthusiastic Scotland fans gathered.

The pair got a shock when they walked out of Munich Town Hall to be greeted by hundreds of Tartan Army members. They were cheered on before a bagpiper played a rendition of Mairi's Wedding, reports the Daily Record.

The blushing bride was seen dancing along, while the groom punches the air in delight. The clip was shared by Germany's Gong Radio Station.

Members of their wedding party can be seen clapping and chanting along with the Scotland fans. The heartwarming scenes have been viewed thousands of times with comments suggesting the Scottish fans - in Munich for Scotland’s opening Euros 24 game against Germany on Friday night - gave the pair a “day to remember”.
