Giovanni Pernice has offered an update to fans as he keeps up with his other ventures following news of his Strictly Come Dancing exit. The dancer is currently keeping busy as he performs up and down the country with former co-star and pal Anton Du Beke.

Earlier this month, the pair kicked off their latest tour, Anton and Giovanni Together - The Live Tour, which will see them travel and perform up and down the country until July 21 when they finish their shows at The Lowry in Salford.

But the tour comes amid continued talk about Giovanni's time on Strictly coming to an end after it was confirmed he will not be part of this year's professional line-up for the upcoming 2024 series amid allegations of "threatening and abusive behaviour" towards his former partners - which he completely rejects and plans to 'clear his name'.

In the meantime, Giovanni is also keeping top of his business having launching his own unisex fragrance last year. Back in October, the Italian star delighted fans when he finally confirmed the details of a secret project he'd been working on. He had previously teased them about on social media and so took to Instagram to reveal he was releasing his own fragrance for men and women.

"My dream come true is finally here!" Giovanni proudly wrote alongside a promo shot for the fragrance at the time. "VITA is my new fragrance for men and women - an intoxicating scent that captures the sensuality, vitality and energy of Sicily.

"I have long been passionate about fragrance and the way scent can captivate the emotions and transport us to another place. VITA is the embodiment of my passions, a personal and complex fragrance which slowly seduces as it unfolds on the skin." He added: "I hope you love VITA as much as I do. Go to gpvita.com to find out more. Giovanni [heart emoji]."

And he's now revealed he's planning to meet fans as he focuses on his other jobs. Sharing a post to his Instagram Story, Giovanni confirmed: "I am so looking forward to being with my good friends at @perfumeryandcompany this Friday at The Furlonh shopping centre in Ringwood, Hampshire, to celebrate and share my unisex fragrance, VITA!"

He added: "Please come along and say hi to me between 1pm to 2.30pm, Friday 28 June." It comes after Strictly's Shirley Ballas defended the 'true gentleman' and claimed things were 'blown out of proportion' following his shock exit from the BBC show amid a workplace 'misconduct' probe.

Speaking at Chorleywood Memorial Hall, Herts, promoting her new book Murder on the Dancefloor, she said last week, according to the Mirror: "I know he is a hard worker. He wants the people to do the very best that they can do. Obviously, in my life I was bullied a lot. I don't condone bullying on any path but also I don't believe gossip and what you read in the newspapers because things get escalated and they are blown way out of all proportion and it can turn into a great big snowball."

"So my feeling for Giovanni is, let them do this investigation or whatever it is they are doing and the truth will come out. So we don't judge anybody until I know absolutely 100 per cent. I won't pass on the gossip unless I know 100 per cent it is true. I have never ever, ever experienced any ill will or bad feeling or bad sportsmanship or rudeness from him. He will be missed."
