The Glasgow bakeries named by La Liste in 'Best Pastry Shops' in the world list
Six Glasgow bakeries were named in a global league table put together by renowned gastronomic guide La Liste.
The guide has selected the Scottish shops and restaurants where you can enjoy the best pastries the country has to offer as part of its global guide into the best bakeries in the world. It aims to celebrate "the diversity of talents, the creativity and audacity, education, and the commitment to values such as seasonality and biodiversity".
And there were plenty of well-known Glasgow bakeries that made the cut, including Cottonrake Bakery, kaf Coffee, and The bakery by Zique in the west end; Partenope and Two.EightSeven in the south side; and Outlier 38 in the city centre, the Scottish Daily Express reports.
