Various changes are being made to routes near Glastonbury Festival to help revellers and residents around the site. The gates to Glastonbury Festival 2024 will open at around 8am Wednesday, June 26, with more than 200,000 people expected to attend the event.

The festival is doing everything possible and working with Somerset Council to reduce queuing but there is only so much capacity on the roads surrounding the site. Somerset Council has published its full list of temporary traffic regulations which aim to minimise the disruption for motorists and revellers.

Some of the temporary measures include implementing one-way traffic on nearby roads, reduce the speed limit on various routes and even closing some roads. You can view the upcoming measures through their roadworks and travel website and download a copy of the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order here.
