Glastonbury Festival: Rylan Clark-Neal Excited About Will Smith And Jazzy Jeff ‘Surprise Set’ Speculation

Rylan Clark-Neal is very excited about the rumours that Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff could be reuniting for a performance at Glastonbury Festival this weekend.

Despite the fact that the Fresh Prince rapper isn’t on the official event line-up, it’s a rumour that has been doing the rounds for quite a while – but what are the chances of it actually happening?

According to This Morning’s showbiz reporter, Rylan, there is reason to be optimistic. “Will Smith – this is a bit exciting,” he started out in addressing the speculation.

“He’s sparked rumours about saying he’s coming on a UK tour if he’s in the country. But there’s a rumour going around that he might be performing at Glastonbury with Jazzy Jeff doing Fresh Prince.

“This. Could. Be. Happening. He’s not on the official line-up…”

Daytime presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield appeared confident about the sincerity of the gossip too, with Holly remarking: “It’s definitely going to happen.”

Providing further evidence, Rylan then added: “They have done it a couple of times… [Will’s] currently in Europe with his family, he sent the rumour mill into overdrive with him saying he’s going on tour in the UK.”

The news of the US actor’s tour came during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in January, when he told the presenter: “I’ve been working on something and this time I’m not lying.

“We’ve recorded about 25 songs and have four or five I actually like. Jeff and I will be back here this summer to do shows – real shows.”

And where better to launch a musical ‘Summertime’ comeback than at the largest greenfield festival in the world, right?
