Glee star Jayma Mays welcomes first child with husband Adam Campbell

Oh. My. What!? It has been revealed that Jayma Mays, the singer-actress best known for playing Emma Pillsbury on Glee, welcomed her first child – a baby boy named Jude – with her husband Adam Campbell back in August. Sneaky, sneaky!

In April of this year, rumours emerged that the British actor and Glee star were expecting a baby together after meeting on the set of the 2007 comedy spoof Epic Movie, eventually tying the knot shortly thereafter.

Opening up about their unlikely relationship in 2013, Jayma jokingly told US Weekly: “We played brother and sister, which is so incredibly sexy. We were very responsible, very professional, but that’s how we met.”

She added: “So we got to goof off, basically, every day together for three months and get to know each other really well. And then we started dating.”

In an earlier interview, Jayma – who also stars on How I Met Your Mother, The League and Ugly Betty – praised her husband Adam for being a great spouse, admitting that she felt “so lucky” to be his wife.

“He makes me coffee every single morning which I could not live without, so every morning I feel so lucky, and I thank him every day,” the actress revealed.

What a sweetheart! We’re sure that she’s even more thankful for that morning cup of joe these days though – along with her former Glee co-stars who have also welcomed children recently.

Heather Morris, who played Brittany Pierce on the musical-comedy show, had her second baby, son Owen Bartlett, with spouse Taylor Hubbell on February 11, 2016.

Meanwhile Naya Rivera, who played Santana Lopez, welcomed her first child, a boy named Josey Hollis Dorsey, with husband Ryan Dorsey on September 17, 2015.

Congratulations to the proud new parents!
