'A Glimpse of the Destruction': Grenada PM Surveys Hurricane Damage on Carriacou

Grenada’s Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell visited the island of Carriacou on Tuesday, July 2, to survey the destruction caused by Hurricane Beryl.

The video here, posted by Mitchell on Facebook, shows aerial views and ground scenes from the island of Carriacou.

“Seeing the impact firsthand was heartbreaking. Homes and businesses have been severely damaged,” Mitchell wrote. “The accompanying video shows just a glimpse of the destruction faced.”
