Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan has really laid into one of his guests, so much so he labelled him "the worst we've ever booked".

On today's (December 18) episode, model Richard Holt appeared alongside broadcaster Harriet Minter as they debated an advert that featured an older topless male model.

However, things started off oddly after Susanna Reid asked Richard if he was "in his fifties", the guest replying: "I'm in my forties, thanks for asking".

He even told fellow guest Harriet that he had "lost the will to live" while she was talking, and later said he wanted to join her side of the argument while accusing Piers of shouting at him.

The presenter then told Richard to "shut up", and then decided to shut him out of the debate, saying: "You’re the worst guest we could have booked for this. You have no idea what you’re doing, you’re abusing everybody including the guests and the hosts."

After both guests had left, Piers reflected on the interview with Susanna, saying: "We've never had a guest who came on and immediately insulted you, immediately insulted the other guest, then turns on me, then changes his opinion.

"A complete about-face, and then just carries on being obnoxious. He was literally the worst guest we’ve ever booked in the history of Good Morning Britain which is quite something given the horror stories we've had.

"The last thing he said was, 'I don’t suppose I’ll be back'. You will never darken these doors again, you annoying little twerp."

Susanna then declared: "Oh dear".

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
